SECTION-I

8. Examine the impact of liberalisation and globalisation on the political economy and governance of Indian states.

9. Analyse the nature and causes of inter-state river water disputes in India. Suggest possible mechanisms for resolution.

10. Write short notes on the following in about 250 words each:

a) Protest politics and democratic deepening in states

b) Role of civil society in sub-state politics

खण्ड-1

1) 1947 के बाद भारत में राज्य राजनीति के विकास की ऐतिहासिक रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत कीजिए। राज्य-स्तरीय राजनीतिक संरचनाओं में समय के साथ क्या परितर्वन आए हैं?

2) भारतीय संघवाद (federalism) की प्रमुख विशेषताओं की व्याख्या कीजिए। विषय संघीय व्यवस्थाएँ (Asymmeterical Federal Arrangement) राज्य राजनीति को कैसे प्रभावित करती हैं?

3) राज्य राजनीति के अध्ययन में मार्क्सवादी (Marxist) और बहुलवादी (pluralist) दृष्टिकोणों की तुलना और अंतर कीजिए। उपयुक्त उदाहरणों सहित विश्लेषण कीजिए।

4) भारत में भाषाई और क्षेत्रीय स्वायत्तता आंदोलनों ने राज्य राजनीति को किस प्रकार प्रभावित किया है? आलोचनात्मक विवरण प्रस्तुत कीजिए।
